Applicants applying for CTET can find the suitable eligibility criteria on the basis of application made for primary stage and elementary stage posts:

Primary Stage:
Applicants applying for the post of teacher on primary stage level must comply with:

• Higher secondary education with minimum 50% marks, or
• Graduation degree with minimum 60% marks or carrying or passed B. Ed degree, or
• Must have completed senior secondary education with 45% marks or own a 2-year diploma in elementary education, or
• Must have completed senior secondary education with 50% marks and pursuing final year preparation with the 2-year diploma in elementary education, or
• A graduate and appeared or passed the final year exam of 2-year diploma in elementary education.

Elementary stage:
Applicants applying for post in elementary stage must comply with:

• Graduate degree with appearance in the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education, or
• Graduation degree with 50% marks with B. Ed degree in progress, or
• Graduation degree with 45% marks with appearance in the 1st year of B. Ed, or
• Completed senior secondary with 50% marks or appearance in the final year of 4-year degree program in elementary education.
